Birthi falls is just 32 kms away from Munsiyari. If you want to enjoy nature at peak level, you can trek to Birthi falls. It is surrounding by lush greenery and forested area. It is suitable for a short trek from Munsiyari to Birthi Falls.

2. Thamri Kund

Thamri Kund is a small pond. Locals call it Thamri Taal also. It is located in the forest of Munsiyari. You have to do a short trek of 3 to 4 kms to reach at Thanri Kund. In the end you will reach a beautiful kund which makes the trek worthwhile.

3. Khaliya Top

Khaliya Top is a must visit place in Munsiyari. It has beautiful meadows snow caped peaks. It is located at an altitude of 3500 meters above the sea level. You can enjoy sunset and sunrise here.

4. Pancahchuli Peaks

Panchachuli Peaks are a group of five mighty snow capped Himalayan peaks. It is one of the most picturesque place in Munsiyari. These peaks are also visible from all over Munsiyari.

5. Nanda Devi Temple

Nanda Devi Temple is dedicated to goddess Nanda Devi. It is one of the oldest temple in Uttarakhand. It is wonderful and beautiful place that give you peace. here You can spend good time with your family.

6. Madkot

Madkot is a scenic hamlet. It is located at 22 kms away from Munsiyari. It is located beside the banks of Gori Ganga River. Madkot is also known for its Hot Spring Water. The water of this spring also help to get rid of skin eruption.

by Air - Pantnagar is the nearest Airport at the distance of 249 kms away from Munsiyari. Taxi and Buses are easily available outside the Airport.

By Train -The nearest Railhead is Tanakpur Railway Station at the distance of 286 kms distance. Second is Kathgodam Railway Station at the distance of 275 kms way from city center. Cabs and buses are available outside the Station.

By Road - It is well connected by Road to the cities of Uttarakhand as well as neighbouring states. State Bus and Private Buses runs regularly from nearby major cities to reach there.
