It is located on Manali-Leh highway. It is 16 kms from Manali. This beautiful village is featured in many bollywood films. Kothi village offers you picturesque view of snow capped mountain, glaciers, and the Beas river which flows through very deep in the valley.



It is favourate spot for poets, writers, painters and anyone who wants some peaceful time. The magnificent view of the nature landscape surrounding Kothi valley attract everyone to explore it. This is the last village before Rohtang Pass. It is a peaceful hamlet. There are some hotels in this area.



If you want to enjoy a great view from your window, you should go to Kothi village. The magnificent view from here are hard to get from anywhere in Manali.



How to reach:-

By Air - Bhuntar Airport is the nearest airport at the distance of 64 kms away. You can take taxi or cab to continue the remaining distance.

By Train - Joginder Nagar Railway Station is the nearest rail head at the distance of 50 kms, but is narrow gauge track and it is connected by toy train to Pathankot. You can go to Pathankot after that you can go to Joginder Nagar.

By Road - It is well connected to Manali. It is on Leh-Manali Highway. There are around 5-6 buses runs from Manali to Kothi everyday. You can take a bus according to your time.
