How to reach Wayanad:-

By Air - Calicut International Airport is the nearest airport at the distance of 65 kms away. it is well connected to the major cities.

By Train - Wayanad is not directly connected via railways.  Kozhikode is the nearest Railway station to reach Wayanad at the distance of around 90 kms from the city center.

By Road - Road are well connected to all the nearby cities. Buses runs at regular interval from different parts of Kerala. Buses till Wayanad are also available.

1. Edakkal Cave



Edakkal caves are situated in the Ambukuthi hills. These caves are located at 1200 meters height from the sea level. These caves are famous for their painting of Human, Animal, Letters, Symbols on the walls of cave. A trek up to Ambukuthi Hills is required to reach to these caves.

2. Chembra Peak



Chembra Peak is a mountain in the Kozhikode district in the state of Kerala. This mountain is situated at 2100 meter height above the sea level. It is the highest peak in the Wayanad district. It is famous for lush green landscape, scenic view. People do trekking in this region. On the way to this peak, You can sight A Heart Shaped Lake. 

3. Banasura Sagar Dam



Banasura Sagar Dam is the picturesque tourist spot and must visit place in Wayanad. It offers the most beautiful views from the top. The dam is places in the foothills of Banasura hills. Banasura is the third largest peak in the Western Ghats. At Banasura Dam, You can enjoy boat ride. You can do trekking also.

4. Neelimala View Point
